  Cutting 4×3 into 16×9

  My camera shoots 4×3, but I can select 16×9 guides in the VF. Is it possible with Premier to cut the 4×3 image into 16×9 and have it display properly on a widescreen television?
  Also can I firewire into Premier with a camera that uses DVCPRO codec?
