  how do you access the dvd menu templates in ae 7.0 royalty free
  alos the ones from encore.

  alwasy personalize, but how do I get to them in the files?

  From the FILE menu choose BROWSE TEMPLATE PROJECTS. That will open Bridge and you’ll see them in there.

  Are you sure you have chosen them on the install? They will be in the “functional content” and “library” folders respectively.
