    Hi,

I’ve just bought a new computer with the following specs:

    OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
    Motherboard: ASUS P5N-E SLI
    Processors: Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13GHz
Graphics card: XFX GeForce 7600GT 256MB
    Monitors: 2 x LG 20″ LCD L204WT 1680×1050, 5ms, 2000:1

It works fine with Premiere Pro 2 apart from one issue. The quality of the image is not so good in the source and program monitors. It’s as if the resolution is lower somehow.

Is this because my graphics card is not fully compatible with Premiere Pro 2? Or is there any setting that I have missed?

    Thanks!

What do you mean with the quality is not so good? How are your playback settings? Do you have the latest driver?

Under the Monitor windows is a setting dropdown either “Fit” or a percentage, what is it set to? have you changed the size of the monitor windows? Video(DV, low res 720×480) shown on a computer monitor window at other than its Native resolution doesn’t look as good as on a external video monitor, plus being interlace video shown on a non interlaced device tends to look a bit crapier
