  • Multicam: How to synchronize grouped clips in a sequence

    Hi-
I’m using Premiere Pro 2. I have two video tracks. Each of these tracks have multiple clips, which I have grouped to keep their timing correct. I would like to synchronize these two tracks for multicam editing, but the synchronize menu item is grayed out when the clips are grouped. Can someone tell me how to do this correctly?
    Thank you. David

Find the two clips with the longest durations that coincide, ungroup, move them with everything to the right of them out of the way to the right, sync the two, then bring everything left and right back together.

The reason I say the longest is that there is more likely a good spot to sync on.
