    hi,

im using adobe production bundle, and having awesome time, opening my PPro2 projects in AFX and color corecting them there.

But suppose I have to output on DV for broadcast, then I have to open the AEP project back into PPro2 timeline.

Which means another render for the final EDit To Tape. Now is this render destructive ? meaning, will it degrade my image quality ?

I have also tried importing a lossless AVI from AFX, it still requires rendering on the PPro 2 timeline.

    Thanks

    Raj

You could render straight to DV AVI from After Effects. Using that to export to tape would be no additional loss.

If you bring the AE comp into Premiere Pro via Dynamic Link then there is no extra encoding, and therefore, no additional loss.
