    Hello,

In Final Cut Pro, Avid it has the ability to save the audio from the time line as an OMF so the OMF can be opened in Digi Design Pro Tools with the audio timeline being re-created in the interface. How is this possible with Adobe Premiere Pro? Automatic Duck Premeire Pro Export to Pro Tools did do this but the product has been taken off the market so it seems there is no software we can currently do this. Does anyone know of an work around to getting the audio re-created in Pro Tools without having to mnaually export each audio layer as seperate wav clips then load into Pro Tools?

    Thanks,

    Leo

We hope that Adobe will finally add that feature in CS3, but it is a very complex format that would likely require an overall in the entire program (that’s my guess, I’m not a programmer).

Anyway, Automatic Duck was it, and it’s no longer supporting PP. All you can really do at this time is import OMF projects into Premiere using “Pro Import”, and i’m not even sure it fully supports Pro Tools.

    Sorry for the bad news.

I haven’t looked into using AAF to go to After Effects, and then OMF thru Automatic Duck from AE to ProTools, that’d be something to look into.

    Hello,

I have been looking into AAF export from Premiere pro but I am not sure if the audio on the timeline can then be re-created in the Pro Tools interface.

I like the Adobe Production Studio but I might move to a MAC and FInal Cut pro or an Abvid based system as the needs of the editors on Premeire pro seemed to get ignored then they do a major new release and half the features which would knock all the FCP setups out of the price bracket do not get addressed.

Such as the memroy issue on big project files and running the sfotware in 64 bit modes.

I will look more into AAF as well but I have never used it or understood this as always worked with EDL from off-line to on-line.

A bit of this topic and yet related to audio. I would like to capture two separate audio tracks (Chanells)while capturing my video. This is not posible in Premiere-Pro. I use DPS Velocity also, and it is able to capture both chanell separately. My intention is to be able to work with each chanell independantly.
Has anyone try a solution to this problem in Adobe Premiere-Pro. Perhaps a work around when capturing.
    Thanks
