  subtitles and captioning in Premiere Pro 2

  Hello,
  is it possible to import captionings and/or subtitles to the timeline and output video with subtitles as a DVD?
  I have tried to import SMI files but they are not recognized as valid.
  What kind of format could I, if any, import?
  Thank you!

  Not possible, in any format. For subtitle import, you’ll have to look at Adobe Encore, or a third party subtitling software.
