February 23, 2006 at 8:43 pmOoops, you won’t have much luck. Error 2 means there is something completely screwed, but it’s not specifyable… (yeah, it’s a damn generic one right after error 1 [Could not start AE] ;o) ) A good point to start – again – is your graphics card and its drivers (OpenGL problems?). Does AE crash on startup or only after you try to do something? If it’s on startup, try to watch the launch process and remember until which point it loads. This might give some clue.

February 23, 2006 at 9:18 pmMost likely an OpenGL issue or an SSE2 instruction set error. If you’re using AE7 on a computer with a processor other than a Pentium4, you can get this error if you have an incompatible hardware setup. Check Adobe’s website for further details.

February 23, 2006 at 11:37 pmwell, i just removed silhouette fx, and updated trapcodes and things seem to work fine so far.
when it crashes im trying to do a ram preview.
i dont quite understand dynamic link.
because with both apps opened, everything takes a long time to respond.daveyg
