    Hey,

I have always been working with standard DV footage. However now I’ve been given an HD project, and I am having problems getting started.

I have HD footage shot with a Sony XDHD F350,
We’ve rented a Sony PDW-F70 deck to hook up to my computer.
I have an existing Deckling card which has been used with our BETA deck. And has an SDI input and serial input as well, along with all the Y,C, audio, etc.
    I am running PPro 2.0

I am not sure if I am hooking it up right, because the best I have done is get timecode in my capture window, no picture.
I was told all I would need to hook it up is the SDI input thru the BlackMagic Decklink.

Please help me hook this thing up! Thanks in advance…

Unless it’s an HD Decklink card, it won’t see any HD footage.

    What are your project settings?

    Hey,

Ok, using Sony’s PDZ-1 software, I have been able to get my MXF files onto my system… now I need to get them into my PPro. Does anyone know of any plug-ins or methods to get my footage into PPro from my MXF files??
