  frustration!! no audio on exported files

  I cannot export audiio from my projects — has anyone else encountered this?

  Payback within the project is great, but I get no audio at all in exported files (DVDs, movie files, AV files).

  These are the settings from the “Export Movie” dialog:

  Export
  Video and audio
  Entire Sequence

  Filetype
  Microsoft DV AVI

  Video Settings
  Compressor: DV NTSC
  Frame size: 720h 480v (0.900)
  Frame rate: 29.97 frames/second
  Pixel Aspect Ratio: D1/DV NTSC (0.9)
  Fields: No Fields (Progressive Scan)

  Audio Settings
  Compressor: Uncompressed
  Sample rate: 48000 samples/second
  Channels: Stereo
  Sample type: 16-bit

  Your help here would be much appreciated…

  This is very obvious, but, could it be, you did not turn on your pc sound card? Or it is not working? Try to open other sound files first…

  BTW, how do you play the export file, which program?

  I’m a bit ashamed to say that rebooting the computer fixed the problem.

  I have NO idea what the original prolem was, but that’s fine. Thanks for the suggestions!
