  Media Cache Files AND Project Management

  In order to create more space on my hard drive, I have used the Project Manager in Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 and saved to a new location. My question is… can I now delete the Media Cache Files that are located on the original drive??? How important are those files, anyway??? Thank you, in advance, for your help!!

  Not important at all. Delete them.

  Anything that needs recreating will happen when you open the project and render the timeline.

  Does the same thing apply to ENCODED FILES, AUTO-SAVE FILES, and PREVIEW FILES? These seem to be left over after “Managing the Projects.”

  I would probably hang on to the Auto-Save files out of sheer paranoia, but the rest are disposable.
