I’ve been using Adobe premiere pro daily for a couple months, converting dvd’s and vcr tapes to mpegs. Suddenly I’m getting the message “error compiling message. unknown error”. I tried Adobe’s recommendations, to no avail. Any suggestions?

Start a new project and try again. It may have been something in the project or it may have been some of the media.

Thank you Steven, for taking the time to reply. I did start a new project and was able to encode a clip. When I tried a second clip, I got the same error message. Started yet another project, same error message. Any idea where I go from here?
