  How to script/automate/add macros to Adobe Premiere Pro

  Is it possible to add scripting and automation to Premiere Pro, such as using macros?

  Dunno if premiere has something build in, but otherwise there is always VideoMacro.
  What it does is just sending keystrokes to any application, just like you would do yourself.
  So if you want to perform a series of actions, just write down the keys you like to do and make enter them in the macro app. Set it to a specific amount of loops or infinity…

  You can also set a pause (some actions take time for Premiere to perform…)
  If things seem to freeze, just hit ctrl alt delete (no need to force quit..) to free the system from the keys sent too fast and try again with more pauses.
  Kinda tricky in the beginning, but when you get the hang of it, it works sweet.

  The free demo version will allow you to do all your work, but you can’t save your custom actions.

  It’s not directly possible to do so in Premiere Pro. However, there are external automating software applications that can re-create key strokes.
