  Reduce speed to still and restart

  Hi.

  I’m trying to do this thing where I want to reduce the speed of my film gradualy to 0 frames per second, then show a still image for a while and then gradualy speed up to normal speed again
  I’ve tried several things already but not to my satisfaction.
  In after effects I either did not get the sound to change speed (timewarp)or I was not able to increase the total length of the avi or it was very hard to reduce the speed in a controlled manner so that it would stop at the exact frame I wanted.

  Thus my questions:
  – What is the best way to do this.
  – Is it possible to do in premiere or do I need to do it al in After effects.

  Use Time Remapping in After Effects. I think that’s your best bet.
