  Audio pops in Premiere pro

  When I bring in a clip to Premier it is adding audio pops to it. I have checked the clips in Windows Media Player and there are no pops. The sample rate of the clip and the project match.
  any help would be greatly appreciated.

  The most likely reason is that it’s clipping. Check your levels and make sure that they don’t go in the red. Peaks around -6db is probably the safe way to go, then the use of the “Dynamics” plugin to compress the overall range.
