Ghosting / Deinterlacing Issue
Hi All,
I’ll get right to it…
Source Material:
720×486 AVI
D1/DV NTSC (.9) pixel aspect ratio
29.97 FPS
I believe lower field firstThe video is green screen footage that is being edited and chroma keyed, not much editing is being done. The footage is then being exported to go in Squeeze to be converted for the web.
Exported as:
332×249 uncompressed AVI
Square Pixels
15fps
DeinterlacedSince the footage is being viewed on computers it needs to be deinterlaced. The issue I am having is that I’m seeing ghosting effects at high motion (not much of it). The ghosting is in my uncompressed AVI exported from premiere. From what I have gathered it sounds like Premiere does a bad job at deinterlacing. I used to do this before using a different workflow using Procoder and I can’t recall having is problem. (different time different place.) I have tried some of the deinterlacing filters in squeeze with no such luck. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!
