    No. There isn’t. Not without exporting to a new AVI and replacing it. Or, dragging down the original material again. There really should not be a need anyway. The cut is not apparent to the viewer. It is kind of a hassle when applying effects, but nothing terrible.

    You can select the clips holding shift and choose “Group” if you want them to stick together.

    You can delete the shorter one and drag the front (or back) edge back to where the start (or end) frame was. Sucks for long clips, works for short ones.
