I have created a test type graphic that I am using on V2. I have a Gradient on V1 and a Live Video on V3. How do I get the video to show through the type only on V2 and keep the gradient on V1? Also should I create the graphic in PS CS2 as a .psd or .tga? Should I create an alpha channel also? I think I am close, but haven’t chose the correct matte in the keying menu. Thanks.

If the graphic is black and white, put it on track V3 with the video on V2. Set V2 to use V3 as a Track Matte and poke out the eyeball on V3.

You will get the video in the text or the gradient fepending on what is white and what is black. If it is backwards, reverse the track matte setting.

    Steven,

Thanks for the quick reply. It works great! This was a basic beggining test to more creativity on PP2. I am able to this same thing on my FCP system at home. Thanks again.
