    Hi,

I’ve been working on a rather large project with many many clips. The project was spanned across four partitions, but have had to move them to four folders on one partition, thing is, premiere is asking me where every single file is and bouncing me around, seemingly in the order they appear on the timeline. Surely I can just direct Premiere to the four folders and it can find its way to everything from there.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Daniel

It should be possible for the program to find all of the files in one directory, meaning you only need to do it four times. If not, then there is something odd about the way your files are listed. Sorry. No real help, other than to tell you your initial thought is correct.

Yes, that is what I thaught and that is exactly how it is working in my After Effects Projects, but not in PP2 for some reason :(. I wonder if it could have anything to do with the way my bins are arranged- sub bins etc, but the order it asks for clips in seems pretty erratic.

One thing that has worked for me in the past is to Select all of your offline clips and then right click and link media. It should work better than having to do each one individually.
