    Hey everyone on the Cow,

I respect your opinions so much I’ve come here to ask if you think the NVIDIA Quadro FX1500 256MB PCIe graphics card is suitable for a new editing PC using Adobe Production Studio?

It’s really the only mid to high-end option I have but it’s not listed as compatible on Adobe’s website. That has me a little worried but maybe someone who knows more about this can inform me. Oh, and I don’t think this is the “Pro video edition” I’ve seen around.

    Thanks,

Personally I think the benefit of Quadro cards is dubious at best especially if you aren’t doing high polygon count 3d modeling. I just built some new machines and got Nvidia 7900gs cards. They are really fast. it depends on how much OpenGL you need to use. If it’s for AE and PP I’d say not that much.
