  AE animation along a path

  Hi All,

  I need to animate a caterpillar – he is constructed of circles in the style of a paper cut-out animation.

  I wish to draw or import a wiggly path and align and distribute these circles along the path. i can then animate my little caterpillar by simply animating the path shape.

  is this possible? and does anyone know how?

  I’ve been using after effects for a while but this is tricky – I can do this in motion using the replicator tool – but can i do it in AE???
