  export problem driving me crazy!

  Whenever I try to export a project that’s over a half-hour long or so, I get an error message that says “Error compiling video. Disk full.” Why can’t I export? Also, I’m wondering why it takes so long to export files. My material is rendered, yet when I export it wants to re-render, which takes up tons of time. Why the redundancy?

  The intended disk for export, by the way, is not full. It has 300-plus gb of unused space.

  Premiere 1.5 had this issue…fixed with a 1.51 update.
  Rendered preview files are not used for anything but previews.
