    Hello,

My Premiere is working fine, Completely normal… its everything else doesn’t work.

Somehow, the only program (including Windows) that is giving me audio playback/sound effects is my PPro2.

And when I try playing videos in any of my media players, the audio doesn’t work and the image is unusually dark.

I have NVIDIA Display to organize my 2 monitors.. could this be the culprit? Or Blackmagic Decklink? Or is Premiere just being a hog?

    Any help is appreciated!

Have you checked to see if your other programs are configured enabled to your sound system?
Ex: In Media Player you goto the Tool dropdown menu and select options and see what devices are being used for sound and check the advanced settings, other programs may have a Preferences instead of options or maybe a device listing in one of their dropdown menus.

We finally got our tech guy to come in.. he figured it out.

I think it was just a conflict of greedy programs.

    Thanks for your reply
