  Importing photoshop files in Premiere Q

  Hello All,

  Quick question, when you import a photoshop file to be used as an onscreen graphic in Premiere do you have to put the file through a process so it plays properly? What im trying to say is when i view my photoshop graphics in premier, the edges seem a little odd and not that clean. Does this all sort out when you de-interlace for playback on tv?

  wHAT YOU see in the Program window often is not what you get on a TV (especially graphics), thats why most of us preview on a TV monitor attached to Premiere via a camcorder or A/D converter. The exception would be for projects that wont be viewed on a TV.
  Part of the issue is the size of the preview window. We all know that one should preview at 100% zoom in Photoshop, well the same would apply for Premiere except that is not practical unless you have dual monitors. Even that ignores safe zones and safe colors/fonts that appear different on a TV.
