  Adobe Premiere IEEE error

  Can anyone help me understand what this error means? I opened my Adobe premire to finish a video and an error poped up about Premiere unable to connect to the native Microsoft DV support and that it can only work with the IEEE 1394 card with an approved microsoft DV Driver. I haven’t added or removed any new hardware since turning off my computer and turning it back on to see this message. Can someone help me get this error off my computer.

  I’m looking in my xtal ball and can’t find any answers, could you supply your computer specs, particularly whether your computer is using a on-board firewire or a firewire card, and if a card what chipset?
