I was curious, with upgrading to the new After effects, in order to make continue to make use of the Network Render Engines that we have installed here at our studio, do we need to re-install each of them and re-copy all the plug-ins again to each system? If it is possible to just continue to use the 6.5 render engines we already have installed, that would be great, but I’m not sure if that is smart or if it will even work. Just curious if someone could comfirm which way we should go. Thanks

Nope, AE 6.5 render engine won’t read AE 7 projects. you need to go thru the re-install process, as painful as it may be. You should however be able to maintain all third party plugins if you choose to install the new render engine into the old directory.
