    to selected clips ??????
Also in non “Pro” Premiere 6.5 works percect.

In some elementary operations is non Pro Premiere 6.5 still ahead……

If you want to copy everything, you can copy the original clip, ant then right click and select “Paste attributes”.

Or you can go in the effect window and select a specific effect, copy it, then paste it directly to other clips in the timeline.

Finally, you can use nested sequences to add an effect to an entire track(s).

we use 6.5 every day for batch processing. The ability to batch process multiple projects into MPEG files overnight is invaluable.

Nothing else about 6.5 is remotely useful. Well maybe easier editing of Windows Media and MPEG-1.
