  Capturing in 5second incriments from camera without tape

  Hello,

  I’m looking to do a series of captures from a camera that is directly connected to PC through firewire. Is there a way to set up a length of a capture to lets say 5sec or 1frame per capture – much like timecode setting if capturing from tape?
