  Mirrored array

  Running AE Studio on an Matrox Axio system, looking to go into Broadcast HD and we’re considering running mirrored arrays for redundancy. Currently on XP Professional. Anyone knows how to stripe the arrays as mirrored arrays in Windows?

  What kind of raid 1 or 5? Is the array run from a controller card or a controller set on the MoBo, or a software array in windows with either the first two its usually done in the controller card’s bios or the MoBo’s and windows sees it as a storage unit you just partition and format.

  Thanks! It’s a Raid 5, actually and We will check on the controller card or MoBo controller – but this helps a lot!
