  Can not capture using Adobe Premiere 1.5

  Hello,

  I am facing a pecular problem that I am getting a mesage CAN’T ACTIVATE RECORDER while capturing using Premiere 1.5. I can export to tape using premiere and can capture using WinDV and Nero and Movie Maker. The CAPTURE problem seems limited to PREMIERE.

  Any help?

  What kind of device are you trying to use? Connected how?

  Hello,

  I apologise for not responding earlier. I seem to have solved the problem. I can capture after I disable the audio preview option. I am using firewire to connect my Sony MiniDV camera. Any other suggestions?
