Achieving ‘X’ effect in Premiere Pro 2
Good afternoon,
Im currently looking for the best way to achieve the below effects in my small film. Problem is I’ve racked my brain at trying to do so, spent days trying to find tutorials only (in both Premiere Pro 2 and After Effects) but have had no luck. If anyone knows of how I can achieve, or go about doing the below, I would greatly appricate a prompt reply.
1. A Highligh/Flash/Shimmer effect over an object in my video – it will be a still at the time. Sort of a shimmer across an object to bring attention to it. Now I thought to myself After Effects 7, but as I mentioned above I am unable to find any such tut’s or guides.
2. Masking of an object (again in my footage, will be paused/still at the time). I want to say have the outline of the object and the object itself white, but then it ‘reveals’ itself (the white layer is lefted off and the object is shown).
3. Lastly, I was wanting to have arrows or some sort of pointer, pointing to an object (can be joking, doesn’t have to be professional – after all it is a comedy). For example, there’s a script in the shoot, I want to point it out with a large red arrow.
Thanks for all your time,
