  Scene detect grayed out in HDv caoture mode with JVC HD100 PPro2

  Hello,

  I am trying to capture HDV in Adobe Premeire pro 2.0 via firewire from the JVC HD100U camera via firewire input. I’m using the JVC preset from the Adobe website. WHen I open the capture window the “scene detect” button ius grayed out. Is this feature not available on HDV mode for some reason? Also if I click on capture tape button Adobe Premeire Pro just shuts down instantly with no warning.

  Has anyone else had similar problems?

  HDV does not have scene detect.

  Hello Steven,

  Thanks that explains it. It’s a shame it does not as it’s very handy to break down each scene as a seperate file.
