I’m having an issue with certain audio clips that I import into Premiere 1.5. Some of the clips imported come in with no sound whatsoever, and I was wondering why that is. Other clips import fine, and I can hear them in the playback window, it seems only certain clips won’t work. Does it have something to do with sampling rates? Any ideas? thanks for the help

More often it is the audio codecs that cause the problem. What are the properties of the bad audio clips?

The sound clips are crappy sounds downloaded free from sounddogs.com, 8khz 16kbps Mono. In the properties it states that the FX must be syncronized within your productions. I’m guessing that might be the problem. What’s weird is that some clips from that site seem to work in Premiere work and others don’t.
