  my video captured by camtasia loses mouse when shrunk in premiere…

  Hello everyone =)

  I have taken video screen caps for a demo I will be making. The trouble is when I bring my clips into premiere it replaces the mouse with a black box when I shrink it. In the original file and the preview, without scaling, has the captured mouse cursor. I tried the same thing in after effects and got the same result. Has this ever happened to anyone. I am new to camtasia but not premiere. I rendered the video as a test and it renders the black box where the mouse cursor would be???

  What format are you exporting from Camtasia?. Premiere wont import native .camrec files directly from screen capture.

  I expotered AVIs but I figured the problem out. You have to right click the clip in the library and hit interperate footage. There is an option in there to “ignore the alpha channel”. That will get rid of the black box 😉
