  Exporting to Microsoft DV AVI – Is there a better option to export smaller files, without losing quality?

  I’m exporting a 65min movie to the Microsoft DV AVI setting and the file is over 14gb. Is there a better export setting that will export a smaller file without losing any quality? This is for a dvd project.

  The file will become smaller when you encode it(MPEG) for DVD authoring.

  Infortunately the trade off is also a quality loss.
