Posted by Aaron Cadieux on July 19, 2006 at 2:41 pmHello,
Are there any good tutorials for color correction in Premier 2.0?

July 19, 2006 at 5:21 pmI would think the Total Training title would cover it pretty well…
I do a bit on each of the separate effects as part of a DVD course that I did for Class on Demand (it should be released soon), but my title will be more of a “quick start” thing. Some depth, but certainly not 18 hours of instruction…I think it will come out to be 2 or 3.
I searched the internet and can’t find anything on wrigley video or Steven Gotz’s website either…
Somebody must have something somewhere besides me I would think…

July 19, 2006 at 11:55 pmThe Total Training course does cover it very nicely. Just pick up the “What’s New” for Premiere Pro 2.0 if you have the older version. It’s pretty good. I am away from home, but I imagine that the Studio Techniques book covers it as well. Maybe Aanarav can take a look.

July 20, 2006 at 6:19 amI haven’t recieved my copy yet, so I can’t confirm it. But, I can certainly say that the Total Training DVD does cover this (atleast that is what it says on their website)

July 20, 2006 at 12:54 pmYes…I have a feeling that Cadge may be interested in some color correction training as well as the description of the button layout.
It would be good to kow if there was some technique stuff on the TT stuff.

July 20, 2006 at 7:08 pmI recall color correction being a large part of the “What’s New” and I believe that material is included in the full set. Jacob really likes the color correction tools I think.

July 20, 2006 at 11:33 pmI just got the Studio Techniques book in the mail and there is a whole section for color correction. Also, I HIGHLY reccomend this book to anyone who really wants to learn Premiere Pro, amateur or expert.

July 21, 2006 at 2:53 pmI figured there would be an extensive section on it. Jacob seems to be pretty happy with it, and that generally makes a writer work harder on a section.
