  QT codec for PP2

  ok – i’ll admit it – i’m a relative newby to Premiere Pro 2 – i’ve got a handful of Quicktime files that i want to be able to use in PP2, but when i try to import them, i’m being told that the file types are not supportable. Is there a codec out there that i can download that will allow me to import .mov files into PP? Would purchasing a full version of Quicktime Pro from Apple allow me to do this? thanks for the help!

  With Quicktime player installed on yourPC,Premiere will import most QT codecs except Mp4. Try updating your QT player.
