I need to import a Power Point presentation into Adobe Premiere. When I do the image is cropped. What must I do to maintain the image sizing of the original slides while also maintaining quality in the image?

    Thanks for you help.

You probably have a PPT file that was created on a screen set for 1024X768 or maybe 1280X1080

How do you want to fit that into a 720X480 frame? You must scale it down with the Motion Effect. Also, the PC screen is not the same shape as the Premiere Pro frame shape. So you will either have black bars, or clipped images. Take your pick.

I’d like to export the final product as 1024X768. Do I still have to scale it down to 720X480?

    Thank you.

No, you can create a custom project with that size using the Desktop setting, but for what purpose? How are you planning on playing it back? And why not just use Powerpoint? You won’t be playing anything that size on a television, right?
