  fx for photo montage

  I’m looking for a template or help with making a video montage with pro.
  I’m setting my photos at 10 sec each. I would like to start off screen and at 65% scale and at the 2 sec mark have the photo full scale in center. for 6 secs. then leaving screen by 10 sec end ending off screen at 65% scale.

  The real issue here is that I’m not understanding the key framing…

  You can create the first one, then copy that one and paste it’s attributes to the rest of them.

  Before you import them, set your preferences to use 10 seconds worth of frames for the default dutration for stills.

  Your pictures are probably a lot bigger than your project’s frame, so you may find that to get to 65% you need to really be at 15% to 30%. Use the Scale parameter of the Motion Effect already in the Effect Controls window.

  Change your program monitor from “fit” to 25% so you can see when you move the image off screen. Put the Current Time Indicator (CTI) to the beginning of the image on the sequence. Put the image off screen by clicking on the middle of the program window and dragging it offscreen. Click on the Motion Effect’s Position parameter stopwatch to turn on the keyframming.

  Move the CTI to the 2 second mark. Change the scale and position to fit the image in the frame as desired. Changing the values will create keyframes automatically.

  Move the CTI to the 8 second mark. Create a keyframe by clicking on the diamond next to the position and scale parameters. Don’t move anything yet.

  Move the CTI to the 10 second mark. Move to offscreen and change the scale to match whatever you used for the first keyframe.
