Tech Stocks
While munching grass, the thought occured to me that we need a new category here on the Cow. (as if theres not enough yet) One called Tech Stocks. I think everyone here has two cents to add. After all, if the products are good, it would be a subliminal way of evaluation. You know… knowing what equipment works great and what doesn’t. And as I paddle down the river, I don’t see the scenery changing much around me; especially in our industry. Meaning that I could stand to make a few bucks elsewhere, to pay for the stuff that was obsolete yesterday. Maybe tech stock picks based on what I see here may count for something. ex. I think Adobe is ripe for a buyout. Only a hunch though, and if I really thought they might be, based on what I might see here, I could hedge some funds in that direction, while upgrading one of our NLE’s
I know some-one of you is going to ask what kind of grass it is that I’m munching.

Great idea, guys.
For starters, Andrew Corp. (ANDW – makers of coax and microwave antennas) is up today on news that ADC Telecom is proposing a buyout at 30% above yesterday’s closing price. Volume over 20 million shares so far …

I heard last week that they’re planning to issue another 8 – 10 million shares, and I believe Citigroup is the underwriter.
