My system – P4 3.0GHz, 1024Mb Ram, Plenty of HDD, Digi 001 sound card – Running XP SP2

I recently formatted, tried to install Prem Pro 2.0 but have had massive issues with it so am now trying to re-install my copy of Prem Pro 1.0 so I can continue running my business. However, once installed, every time I try to open the program I get the error:

“Adobe Premiere Pro could not load any audio drivers. Please re-install Premiere Pro and start again”

After removing, re-installing and rebooting 5 times, I’m pretty sure its not going to fix the problem.

Anyone have ANY ideas as I am now DESPERATE to get everything working!

Have you installed the audio-drivers for the sound card?

Yes, all audio drivers have been installed, and the card is working with all other programs

Have you been able to find the solution?

I have exactly the same problem. Tried to install reinstall many times, to install deinstall sound card and nothing helps.

    Any suggestion?

Not sure what exactly fixed the problem, but I formatted, turned my sound card off in the bios, turned it on again, then installed XP and Prem Pro. Now it just all seems to work…

    Hi.
Im having the same problem with the error message:”Adobe Premiere Pro Startup Error- Adobe Premiere Pro could not load any audio drivers. Please reinstall Adobe Premiere Pro and start again”

Were you able to find a solution? I’ve reinstalled the soundcard drivers several times, but didn’t fix the problem. I really don’t want to reinstall XP.

    Thanks
    Peter

As I said in my previous post, I just went through those steps and it all started to work again. Not sure which one of them fixed the problem but I have a feeling it was premiere struggling to work with my external sound card. I figure turning the onboard card back on is probably what fixed the problem.

    Hi
    Thanks for the reply.
I wasn’t succeccfull with any of the suggestioons here so I tried a “system restore” to a few weeks ago and that worked. I never figured out what the actual cause of the prblem was.

    i found the problem
just go to device manager remove the sound card.
    run the application
then go to device manager and click on rescan or refresh so it will install the audio card again , then the software will work ok
