Anyone knows what causes this??
Sometimes, when I stretch a clip so it plays in slow-motion, Premiere plays it back in jerks and stops. That is, instead of a smooth slow motion, it will play as if it has a velocity curve like a bouncing ball.
Interestingly enough, this doesn’t happen all of the time, and I haven’t figured out the trick. I’ve played with the combinations of field options, and found that checking “Always deinterlace when speed is below 100%” ( which is the default it seems ) is generally the best option.
Are there speeds at which slow motion works better than others? Is there some rule of thumb I should go by when stretching a clip so I can guarantee a smooth playback?
