Matrox Axio 720p 24fps and premeire?
I’ve been doing research on which HD editing system to buy and the AXIO seems like a real champ. However, i’ve run into a snag. apparently the axio cannont capture 720p 24fps? I know it does 720p60fps.
Now, i understand the varicam records 60p no matter what, and you do a frame rate conversion when you capture the other speeds, but the quesion i really need to know is that can the axio edit realtime on a 720p24fps timeline like it does with all the other formats. I can’t fathom them not supporting this. Is there some kind of workflow to make this happen? This could be a potential dealbreaker with the axio system for me.

they say it is coming with a driver upgrade…
i would wait for axio to do it, they are great cards.
