Titler giving me this runtime error message.
I get this error message when I go into the Title creator of Premiere 2.0 and try to scroll through the Fonts list.

Someone on another forum suggested I run an XP repair install. Does that sound right?
Any clues anyone? Thanks.

It’s possible. The R6025 error is pretty generic and common to Windows apps. That doesn’t mean the problem is with Windows, but it doesn’t mean it couldn’t be.
Since the problem happens when you work with fonts, I’d start the troubleshooting there. Take out any unnecessary fonts- the likelihood is that you have a bad one on the system. (Or possibly too many. Windows tends to drag if you’ve got your fonts folder stuffed too big.)

Thanks for the tip. Is there a way to weed out bad fonts? A program? If not, I’ll just throw a bunch of the ones I don’t use. I have over 350 fonts in my Fonts folder in Windows XP.

I’m not aware of anything that will positively identify a bad font. There might be some sort of font-syntax-checking utility, but it’s not in my realm of knowledge.
Best thing to do is take out everything except what ships with Windows (I’m sure there’s a list somewhere on the web) and take it from there. Then start adding fonts back until it breaks.

Thanks guys. I deleted about 50 suspect fonts, fonts that I never used. It seems to have done the trick.
