    Hi All…

Doing a bit of investigation regarding real world uses of Aspect HD.

Have a client who is hsooting HDV and would like to cut a TV Docu for delivery cable Networks.

Reading about Aspect HD, it seems like it would fit the bill, BUT (there always is one)…

I thought I’d check and see if anyone out there has done this yet…

Have you gotten push back from QC at the various networks?

    Thanks….

I think you’ll find most networks take HD content on HDcam. I can’t imagine you would deliver in a file format, or small format hdv tape for this kind of program.

Why dont you do a test, or screener. Output the final product to HDCAM, (find a post house near-by that can help you out) and get the networks to look at it. At the end of the day, if the content is great, and the quality is good, there shouldn’t be a problem!

    Cheers

    Hi Brett…

Sorry…I should have been more clear…

I agree with the delivery fomrat issue…

What I’m trying to determine is if Cable networks give push back for content that gathered HDV and transcoded and posted with Cineform….

Regardless of the final tape format it’s delviered on….
