  software to capture computer keystrokes to AVI or QUicktime?

  Hi there:

  I’m going to be shooting a little trainig video for a buddy who has developed a software program. I’d like him to actually use the program and capture what is on the screen to video.

  Is there a plugin for that?

  How about an inexpensive software program?

  Does Adobe make something that does this?

  Adobe does have something (actually, Macromedia does) and it’s called Captivate. There are quite a few others and the free one is called CamStudio. However, you will have to look around on Google to get that, as it is no longer made.

  Camtasia 3 is a great app for making training videos…scorm compliant too.
