Trying to render mpeg with 8 bit audio from a digital camera???
I have a digital camera that takes 640×480 video at 30 frames per second (quicktime video). but the audio is 8 bit mono. i can import the video into premiere but when i try to render it with the mpeg encoder (to create a dvd) the audio is very chopping going in and out. i image it is because of the 8 bit. i can see how to set it to mono, but is there a way to specify 8 bit audio? And if not, are there any other alternatives? and is there anything else i have to set? Here are the audio details from premiere for the clip:
Image Size: 640 x 480
Pixel Depth: 24
Frame Rate: 30.00
Source Audio Format: 8000 Hz – 8 bit – Mono
Conform Audio Format: 48000 Hz – 32 bit floating point – Mono
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0thanks in advance for any help you can give, i would really hate to not be able to use the video from the camera, the quality is not too bad for basic home movies.
