Activity Forums Adobe Premiere Pro Flash video for my web site

After several days of research I have finally arrived at the best way to show my movie trailer on my web site. I also think I know how to do it.
First, I will edit my AVI files and sound track using premier pro 1.5 and then use the new flash 8 pro plugin (the one that works in “most” NLE’s) to create a .FLV file. This is great. Except one problem. Adobe’s Flash Pro 8
won’t work with Adobe’s Premier Pro. HUH???? Adobe won’t work with Adobe.
Isn’t that why I have all adobe products? Won’t work with Sony Vegas either. Gee??? Now what?

Will work with Apple Final cut pro. I don’t have an Apple.

How am I going to edit my video into a trailer and then play it as a flash video. “used on more desktops than any other player” I learned this at Adobe’s website along with all the other things it can do. Except work with my Adobe N.L.E.

    Any suggestions would be helpful
    thanks

Did you use Flash Video MX for help?

Sorenson Squeeze Pro has a FLV output that you can use in your Flash website… it also outputs MOV, WMV, RM. It really is a nice program. It has all sorts of presets and lets you make and save your own. I use it all the time to output large and small versions of videos and/or multiple formats of videos.

I don’t have any actual numbers to back this up, but my perception is that videos outputted from Sorenson versus PPro1.5 or AE7Pro are about 20% better looking and 20% smaller in file size. ANYONE HAVE REAL NUMBERS TO SUPPORT THIS?

Well worth the $200 or so it costs (at least what it use to cost – can’t speak for it now).

Some really great answers given here. Thanks to everyone.
I am currently experimenting with https://www.flash-on-tv.com/video-to-flash.html I tried a good quality mpeg with this demo version and it looks very nice. (Wondershare Video to Flash encoder). Seemed to simple to be good but I can’t say the results are. You can demo for 30 days with watermark and file sizes under 50 megs.
