    Hello:

I am not much of an audio guy, so bear with me. Using 1.5 PP, I split an audio track into two separate mono tracks, one voice (singing) and the other music (I believe R and L stereo. Seems to work fine in PP, as I can turn one off, such as voice, and all I hear is the music from the other, and vice versa.). I exported the video to .avi, then burned with Encore. When played through the church’s sound board, it will not split the audio out into separate channels. What am I doing wrong? I think I am also missing a basic concept here: audio “tracks” in PP don’t necessarily equate to audio “channels” on a sound board, do they??

    thanks,

    ed

okay, I got my answer on another forum. FYI, I have to export each audio track to separate .wav files, then bring each in to Encore as an “asset”, and have three separate buttons in encore: one to play video and sound, the other to play video and voice only, and the final to play both mixed together. Sometimes, the correct way involves a little more work.
