  • Export fails when at specific point every time – Premiere Pro

Posted by Accountneedsrealnameupdate on February 16, 2006 at 10:52 pm

I am trying to export a 4 minute movie from Premiere Pro. Everytime it hits a specific frame the export movie window disappears. I tried burning straight to DVD, same thing, it has an error (unknown error. Export window shows no error, just disappears). The point that it fails it where I took a clip, cut it in half, changed the second half to 50% duration speed. As soon as it hits that it fails. I tried several different ways of cutting the clip, same thing. If I delete the second half and extend the first to take its place with no duration change it exports fine. Anyone know why this is doing this?

    Thanks
    Tom

    Version #?
    Project settings?
    Clip/media settings?
    Export settings?
Are your disks formatted as NTFS or FAT32?

If your harddrive isn’t full, my guess would be bad media. Take out the clip that is at that point in the timeline and try a test to see if it completes the export…then at least you’d know.
